Two lucky ringette teams have a chance to win an hour at Iceville presented by SaskTel on February 7th!
The 2020/21 ringette season has had it's challenges with the global pandemic. These issues pale in comparison for many Regina families. Fighting hunger is a very real and serious challenge. Half of those the Regina Food Bank serves are children, and a $20 donation feeds a family for a week! The Regina Ringette Association is proud to join the Regina Exhibition Association Limited and Iceville presented by SaskTel in support of the Regina Food Bank.
To enter the contest, teams simply collect and raise food and funds for the Regina Food Bank! For every five food items donated, or every $10 donated, the team will get an entry into a draw to win! Two ringette teams (15 skaters each) will be the lucky recipients of using the Regina Ringette exclusive ice time at Iceville on February 7th!
The draw will take place on February 1st at 9 PM. Teams will drop-off donations to the Regina Ringette equipment room prior to the draw. Drop-off times are 4-6 PM on Saturday, January 30 and 4-6 PM on Sunday, January 31.
Teams are encouraged to collect the top most demand items for the Regina Food Bank:
Canned Stews
1 Litre Juices
Powdered Milk
Pork & Beans
Peanut Butter
Canned Meat & Fish
Pasta Products
Soup
Baby Food
Enfalac & Similac
Teams are welcome to invite sponsors to support their food drives, and share their journey on social media to support the food drive.
Regina Ringette is excited for the outstanding local ringette community to support this important cause!
