Congrats to Darin Degenstein on being named one of two Volunteers of the Year by Ringette Saskatchewan.
Darin is our current marketing and promotions director with RRA but his hard work doesn't stop there. Although his children are grown and in the 18+ Open division, Darin helped get Moose Jaw Ringette going last season, he was the manager for the Impact Ringette team that traveled to Europe this past spring AND he managed the 18+ Open Team Saskatchewan that went to Westerns last season. Darin didn't have a child on either of those teams either.
You'll often find Darin organizing and doing play-by-play for many of our televised games, announcing from the box during tournaments and league championships, running Come Try Ringette events and working booths at lots of other events that Regina Ringette attends such as Moose Jaw sidewalk days, Regina Pride Parade, I Love Regina day and so much more.
Darin has a passion for ringette and its very apparent by all his hard work. We are very lucky to have him in Regina & southern Saskatchewan.
